On the Sidewalks of New York

One of the things I like about New York is that it's such an "outside" town. Of course the fact that the weather was good for most of our trip helped. But even on the colder or more drizzly days there were people outside and walking. Day and Night. Megan commented that it seems there is a smaller percentage of overweight people than we are used to seeing here.

Monday night, the Empire State Building sported purple and gold: Best of Breed colors.

The scenery we could view from Madison Square Garden was great (sigh).

New/Old/New. Delighting in architectural styles.

A quiet square on 53rd complete with waterfall.

Plant and garden lovers live on the eighth floor of this building.

Red, white, and blue.
