Camping with dogs

Good ol' B37. Soon to be known as "party central". This year's trip to Bullards Beach included 7 campsites, 15 people, 24 dogs, and 1 toddler.

Good wine, good friends . . .

Good dogs . . .

And a couple of adorable puppies.

The dogs enjoyed being able to snuggle in the cool ocean air: Molly and Huxley,

Pilot and his Mama Alice. Alice has truly enjoyed her visits with Nanna and Pie-pie.

Digger wanted to know why he and Molly and Pilot kept having baths.

I long for the day when we can have "sea mist" more of the time. Back to 100 degree plus heat this week.

Must . . . Evacuate . . . Southern . . . Oregon . . .

California. They take our water, they send us their smoke.
Maybe this is only amazing if you know that there are hills right over there. And mountains behind them. It's been smoky since Sunday, getting worse and worse. Although the wind has come up tonight and it may be starting to clear out.
It has made for pretty evening skies. But has cut down on the amount of exercise we have been able to do.
