Wind and dust storm in the valley 01/16/16
We took a drive for an overview of the south end of the park. We found a couple of places we would like to stay, but Verizon service was non-existent. We need to find out how good the wi-fi is at Stagecoach Trails RV Park in Shelter Valley. It looked like it would be a good place to explore from.
Rugged country. Imagine building this old road.
Looking down into Canyon Sin Nombre in the Carrizo Badlands.

There is an ocotillo in front of our coach where they prefer to rest before descending on our feeder.
The ocotillos are now green and beginning to bloom.
Desert Gardens and Coyote Canyon
Beaver Tail Cactus
The attack of the cholla! They got both of us, even though we were trying to watch our steps.
The jumping cholla jumps, and having jumped moves on.
"Walk by me; I dare you."
Bloom on Ocotillo
Deep flowing ruts in the crossing.
Never the same twice.
