That would be the five-double-pointed-needles skill. Sock #1 has a few baubles in it and I'm not wild about the pointed toe, but it fits. The pattern I used has a couple of toe variations and I will probably change to a square toe for future socks.Things learned include the fact that small bamboo needles do not mix well with puppies. Do not leave your ball of yarn with knitting attached on the table between the chairs or you will be going to the yarn store for new needles and starting your sock over. Again. And when you go to the yarn store for new needles you will also have to buy more yarn because you just can't pass it up.
