Birds in the Living Desert

The pair of cranes put on quite a show for us.

Road runners have little fear of people.  Or of Cardigans as one evidenced to us later in Mom & Dad's park.

"The Living Desert" is a Wildlife and Botanical park in Palm Desert, California.  We highly recommend it, but if you visit allow time.  We only covered a little more than half in our visit, missing most of the African large animals.  We do plan a return visit.
The bottom bird is a bronze as I wasn't able to capture a decent picture of any of the live eagles in the park.  Many excellent bronzes are on display around the park, placed in proximity to the animals they represent.
