Leslie captured this video through the jeep window of a bison enjoying a good wallow. I wish only that she had captured the precursor where he made it even better by copiously wetting it down.
According to this article by the Boston Globe a century ago the herd numbered only 23 bison. There are now nearly 5,000 in the park.
