Travelogue

Some weekends the best part of the dog show is the drive to and from.  In this case it was a 9.5 hour drive each way across two states.

The Snake River, just out of Clarkston WA

I enjoy the patterns on the hills in eastern Washington.
The Snake again, just out of Starbuck WA.  In playing with with my GPS I took a side trip that ended up being a shortcut.  I figured that if I hit a dirt road, snow, or a closed gate I could turn around and go back.
I ran into some heavy snow over the Cascades yesterday, but it was warm enough that it had melted off of the road surface.
Snowplows are our friends.
