On the Columbia

Once the tourist season is over (i.e. in October) it is actually possible to get into Maryhill State Park. Get in early enough and you may have a river-view campsite.

We stayed two weeks and were blessed with warm, sunny weather the first week.

One last visit from the family rock star.

The Columbia from the Washington side.

Historic steam locomotive in Wishram, WA. Read more about it at http://www.steamlocomotive.info/F102003.cfm

On October 18th we moved down river back to Columbia Riverfront RV Park in Woodland, WA so that I could fly to a CWCCA board meeting in the Cincinnati area out of PDX.

Tom enjoys staying there so that he can watch the boats. This time he had a great view through the front window, albeit past the playground equipment.

Waiting for Mom to come home . . .
